It's time to venture behind the scenes again here at Xynomix, and in the spotlight today is Louis Musgrove.

About Louis

Louis is one of our Business Development Managers, operating within the Finance & Leasing, Professional Services, Local Government & Blue Lights sectors. He has been with Xynomix for just shy of two years, and has previous experience in account managing for companies providing Linux & AWS consultancy and data centre, connectivity & hosting solutions.

What does a typical day look like for you?

A typical day for me includes working with new and current business opportunities, presenting new technologies and options to ultimately offer a more complete solution.

What's your favourite aspect of your job?

It's got to be assisting customers with new solutions. Starting from scratch, understanding the need for change and working through the different options available to meet and exceed upon expectations. I find that this makes for substantially happier customers, which makes my day much more satisfying.

How did you first learn about Xynomix?

Xynomix were actually one of my customers at a previous company. I was suggesting a hosting alternative to Oracle Cloud, which some of our E-Business customers still use.

How has Xynomix helped you in your career development?

Having previously worked predominantly in hosting services, working effectively as a consultant and thoroughly understanding customer solutions wasn't so easy. However, with the help of our sales and technical teams, this year has been quite a success!

What is your motto or personal mantra?

"When the wind of change blows, some people build walls and others build windmills."

What three traits define you?

Talkative, passionate and diligent.
