Oracle Fusion Middleware, Cloud Computing and Enterprise 2.0 were just a few of the topics covered at this year’s Oracle Partner Network event, attended ‘virtually’ by Xynomix.
Usually presented in bricks and mortar format across the UK, Oracle partners were this year invited to attend a virtual event.
Attendees were given the opportunity to network with other partners, attend presentations in a virtual conference hall and visit other partners’ booths to collect collateral and ask questions using a live chat function.
Presentations attended by Xynomix staff included:

Oracle ‘OPN’ days are designed to help Oracle partners access the most up to date Oracle information and to develop a stronger, healthier relationship with Oracle that will allow partners like Xynomix to pass the best knowledge and benefits on to clients.
Prior to the event, Xynomix’ Sales Director, Steve Wigglesworth said: “We are proud to be an Oracle Certified partner. Xynomix’ sales solutions specialists attend the Oracle Partner Conference each year to strengthen our relationship with Oracle and gather new information that will help us continually improve the Oracle services that we offer to our clients. We have always enjoyed meeting Oracle experts in person in the past, but we are excited to be involved in the first virtual ‘OPN’ day”
Now after the event, one of Xynomix’ attendees, Jules Pedersen, agrees that this year’s event was successful and delivered excellent information: “The virtual nature of this year’s ‘OPN’ day did not detract from the sense of partnership and community that Xynomix have with Oracle and indeed other partners. The event certainly served its purpose in presenting relationship-building opportunities and disseminating information on new technologies and concepts that we can use to improve the services and depth of knowledge that we offer to clients”
Xynomix have been an Oracle Gold Partner since the company was formed in 2002.
